Wow! Did you catch Matt Monaco’s live webinar on Wednesday afternoon?
In it, he broke down which stocks he’s watching and for what moves…
Where traders can get the best entries in some of these recent runners … And what chart settings and timelines he looks at.
But what I want to focus on and highlight today is his lesson on entries…
It’s so good I just have to share what a treat SteadyTrade Team members received in this extra special webinar…
Because good entries are the first step to a winning trade. So don’t miss these lessons and chart examples…
Matt Monaco’s Tips For Entering a Trade
Matt Monaco answered a ton of questions in his webinar. But one question he often received was where to enter a trade in the morning…
So Matt broke down some examples of where to enter a trade and where to set your risk level in recent runner FingerMotion, Inc. (NASDAQ: FNGR).
Matt says the great thing about these trade ideas is that they offer a good risk level.
His first example was from the action on September 30.
FNGR pulled back into more of a downtrend than he likes to see after an initial spike. But the critical thing is that it holds the opening price level. And that’s a good risk level.
Then you can enter on any breaks above the previous daily high.
The next day, FNGR had another big move. But Matt would trade this one in a completely different way…
He said this is a tougher trade idea. Because on this day FNGR spiked in premarket, then consolidated and broke the high right at the open.
If he traded FNGR on October 3, he would’ve used the spike and consolidation in premarket as the ‘open’ action similar to the example above.
Here’s what that idea looks like…
Matt’s idea for entering trades when it breaks consolidation or previous highs is similar to the way I like to buy strength.
