Happy Monday, traders — hope you had a great Easter weekend. Time to reset, refocus, and get dialed in for another explosive week of opportunity.
This week, we’re centering our watchlist around one key theme: big money moves, specifically Bill Ackman’s latest play. When a legendary investor like Ackman goes heavy on a beaten-down name, the market pays attention — and so should we.
Top Stocks to Watch This Week
Before you send in your orders, take note: I have NO plans to trade these stocks unless they fit my preferred setups. This is only a watchlist.
The best traders watch more than they trade. That’s what I’m trying to model here. Pay attention to the work that goes in, not the picks that come out.
1. Hertz Global Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: HTZ)
Catalyst: Massive Ackman stake revealed
Key Level: $8.50 breakout
Ackman’s Pershing Square has increased its position in Hertz to nearly 20%, making it the second-largest shareholder. The move wasn’t public until recently thanks to a rare SEC exemption — but when it hit the wires, HTZ exploded.
Shares doubled last week before pulling back Monday. That’s exactly the kind of chart I love: a massive move, gain-taking, then a potential second surge.
Watch for a break of $8.50 — this could be a swing and day trade setup with real staying power. When a billionaire goes all-in, trends can last for months.
Bonus tip: Breaking News Chat nailed the Ackman headline HOURS before CNBC. Be early, not late.
2. Energy Fuels Inc. (AMEX: UUUU)
Catalyst: Geopolitical tailwinds + uranium policy shift
Key Level: $5.50–$6.00 range
UUUU is gaining serious momentum. It’s the only licensed uranium mill operator in the U.S., and it’s ready to replace Chinese mineral imports. After a rally from $3.50 to $4.95, option flow is heating up, especially at the $6 May strike.
This stock checks every box:
- Clean chart
- Policy catalyst (Trump’s executive order)
- High retail interest
- Room to rerate compared to peers
Target range? Bulls are calling for $7–10.

3. Motorsport Games Inc. (NASDAQ: MSGM)
Catalyst: Nasdaq compliance + strong close
Key Level: $3.00
MSGM’s back in play after regaining Nasdaq compliance. The stock was a slow grinder last week — but Friday, it lit up. This is one of those names where the trend is your friend. If it closes strong, there’s a good chance of a gap-and-go Monday morning.
Set your risk tight, and look for breakouts over $3. With analysts targeting $5 and sentiment turning, there’s plenty of upside.
And remember: winners hold winners. Losers hold losers. If it’s strong into the close, that’s your signal.
4. Direct Digital Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: DRCT)
Catalyst: Late-day spike into close
Key Level: $1.00 cross
DRCT ripped into the close Thursday, pulled back slightly, and is now hovering near a key dollar-cross level. This is one of my favorite setups: low-priced stock, clean whole-dollar resistance, and momentum behind it.
Breaks $1.00? That’s go-time. Just make sure volume confirms.
5. Allarity Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ: ALLR)
Catalyst: Board restructuring + dollar level watch
Key Level: $1.00
ALLR is a light-volume biotech, but it caught a Flux signal last week and began creeping toward $1.00. It’s not a home run setup — but keep it on radar. If this one crosses $1 with volume, you could see fast action.

Not every trade needs to be a breakout banger — sometimes you just want a scalp-friendly setup. This fits the bill.
Final Thoughts: Trade What Matters
Ackman’s move into Hertz is the perfect reminder: we follow the money.
Whether it’s a billionaire investor, a geopolitical policy change, or a Nasdaq compliance win — these are the catalysts that move stocks. But that doesn’t mean you chase blindly.
