Can you be done trading before the opening bell?

Many traders sit at the computer all day looking for good setups or trading randomly out of boredom.

But the great thing about trading is that you don’t have to be tied to your desk all day…

 This isn’t a 9-5 job.

Trading offers flexibility and freedom to trade when setups are there…

And go pursue your hobbies or commitments when they’re not.

Even if there are tons of insane runners like we’ve seen lately — you don’t have to become a slave to the market.

You can make one winning trade and be done for the day.

It’s even possible to be done for the day before most people even start their work day…

Just look at this trade idea from Friday as proof…

Can You Be Done Trading Before the Opening Bell?

Altimmune, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALT) was my number one watch during premarket on Friday.

The stock had weight loss news (which kinda ties it in with VVOS’s news earlier in the week).

It has somewhat of a low float…

And when I was live on Pre-Market Prep with the chart on my screen, ALT broke the previous day’s high and I said, “There’s your entry…”

A lot of people think that I don’t like premarket trading…

But it’s not that I think trading premarket is bad — it’s just aggressive.

It’s okay to be aggressive when trades are working for you and when we’re in a hot market like we have been lately.

Premarket trading is actually one of the strategies that’s been working well through all this madness.

And knowing what’s working in the market can give you an edge…

Couple that market knowledge with StocksToTrade’s Breaking News Chat and my buy in pre, sell in pre rule, and you can be ahead of all the unprepared traders…

The Breaking News Chat alerted ALT’s news after hours on Thursday — before the stock had a 57% gain.

But the level I said was a good entry was in premarket when it broke that previous day’s high around $5.05…

And if you followed the buy in pre sell in pre rule, you could’ve been out of your position anytime before the stock hit its high of $5.97.

Knowing the news, following the rules, and having the knowledge that premarket trading is working right now, means you could’ve been in and out and avoided getting caught in a disgusting selloff…

You didn’t have to stick around all day.

You can be done trading before the opening bell.

But it helps if you have the right tools to help you watch and trade the right stocks in premarket.

You have to know the news and the right levels to enter…

I can help you with all that in my Pre-Market Prep sessions available only in the Daily Income Trader system

But if you want to go it alone, at least have a tool to alert you to news before most people see it…

Have a great day everyone. See you back here tomorrow.
